I love my choice of husband.
He is also the type of person to have confidence sky-high, but he seems to always surprise me when he stops and tries to do something to make my life better or try to change to be a better husband. He searched a long time for a wife and I think that made him an even more awesome husband. When I first met him, I thought he was a total Me Monster. Well, he still kind of is sometimes (and he can admit it) but I know his intentions. For example, when we were first dating, he came over to my house and my roommate and I were trying to hang a picture in our kitchen. She and I started hammering the nail in and he snatched the hammer out of my hands and said "Oh I'll do it" and he just took over. Me and my roommate looked at each other like he was nuts. But now that I know him, looking back, all he was trying to do was be a gentleman.
OK, cheesefest over.

Laundry Stain Remover & Other Mushy Stuff
Been a long-time lover of

Shout Advanced. I still have a bottle I'm using actually. But the last few times I've gone to my Dad's in California, he keeps asking me if I've tried this stuff

If you see the little picture on top, its a picture of clothes (pants, shirt, shorts) on a clothesline. He has told me all the things he's gotten out of clothes using it. Oil, grease, blood, etc. And I go, "cool Dad" and then I forget every time I go to Wal Mart. Well, a couple weeks ago when I was in the pharmacy section looking for mineral oil for our

Awesome lady lamp. Have you seen one of these in action, by the way? They're pretty nifty. Anyway, you know how people pick stuff up and then decide they don't want it later and then just dump it wherever (that's GOTTA be annoying for the employees) well, staring me in the face was this container of GOOP. So I snatched it.
I used it on a permanent marker stain and it reduced it significantly. Its gotten oil stains out easily.
Its around a $1 and you can find it in the automotive section. Shout is about $6 for a teensy bottle.
Josh had an oil rain lamp like the one pictured above growing up. They were common for decor in the 70's. Fits our house awesomely! So its a nostalgic piece, but not only for Josh.
Back when I thought Josh was just a good, macho friend of mine...I found out that his parents lived about 10 minutes from my Dad in California (1st date was day after Halloween). Perfect! I'll get a cheap ride since we'll split gas. Well, we pretty much fell in love the 10 hour ride there. I had thanksgiving dinner with his family and there at their house was this crazy looking unclothed (chose that word, instead of the obvious word, so people googling that word will NOT find this blog) statue rain lamp. After dinner we watched princess bride (I had never seen it before) while cuddling. He turned over to me and whispered "I love you" I let out a sigh as if to say "Finally you say it!" and told him I loved him too. We spent the rest of the night talking and pretty much decided my last name wasn't going to be Oler very much longer. No games. He was hot. I was hot. He liked me, I liked him. Lets get married. Lets have babies. Sounds great.
So, that lamp reminds me very much of that night, as it was about 3 feet from me as Josh professed his undying love for me.
Also, some other movies I had never seen before I met Josh: Dirty Dancing, Karate Kid, Casablanca, The Twilight Zone, Ferris Beuller's Day off.

My Husband Thinks I'm Crazy
Getting ready to put Kaius down for the night tonight, ya know, getting myself situated to feed him. Josh says "Shouldn't you be done with that?"
"Done with what..breastfeeding?!" I am shocked, Josh is usually very supportive with all things baby. He helped take care of young siblings growing up.
He nods. "You are gunna still breastfeed him with all those TEETH?"
We just noticed Kai's top 2 teeth are coming in, so paired with the 2 bottom teeth, if he ever bites me he can actually draw blood. yay! But they usually learn how NOT to hurt you.
"Yes...I'll probably b/f him....until our next baby"
He gives me this "you're nuts" look and raises his eyebrows.
So I ask "What, you don't think thats a good ide-" "No." He interrupts me with.
Oh man I laughed pretty hard. Guess you had to be there.

Its Sunday, 8 pm and Josh and I are asking each other what we should do for dinner.
"I dunno", I say.
"Well, I made lunch today, so..."
"hahaha! Nice argument!"
Josh made microwave burritos. I just thought it was cute and really funny, cuz I think he was serious!
FYI, I always make dinner, and love it, but I'm still recuperating from waking up for 9 AM church and now I will get off my lazy butt and cook some DINNER

BEEP
So Josh and I met with the bishop tonight and we talked for about an hour, just getting to know each other. Josh proceeds to tell the bishop about the lemon car we bought from a shady dealer, with a shot transmission that we had to shell out an extra 2,000 for from our savings. Josh words it like this "Well we bought a car from this salesman in Salt Lake and we got totally shhhhhhheisted in the deal." (which is the sh** word in German)....not a big deal cuz we Americans say "Shizah" all the time, right??
Well our Bishop moved to America when he was in his twenties...from Germany. And can say our last name more properly than we can.
The look on his face was HILARIOUS. So shocked. He was like, "Oh OK."
Josh didn't even realized til I hit him on the arm. Oh man, did he apologize up and down trying to explain that Americans use it in every day language as slang, not profanity. And that he should know better, he took 5 years of German, his family had a German boy come stay with them for a year, and his little brother Chris is currently on a mission there right now. I think that the bishop understood, but think if you moved to Germany and became a bishop and someone came in and said the word "shi$" in your office?? hahahaha I don't think I'll ever let him live it down. We laughed pretty hard about it on the way home. And I told him I'm totally gunna blog about it, and her I am.

The Warm Discussion
Today, we attempted to go to the movies because we have 2 supersavers (free tickets) to Cinemark theaters. I REALLY dont understand why anyone goes to Cinemark..Megaplex is so much better. You can buy your tickets in advance and be confident it wont be sold out, because you can see the seating chart. Also, you dont have to show up early at all because your assigned seat that you chose is sitting there empty.
Anyway. We got tix for tomorrow since it was sold out, which we will have to show up early for to get good seats.
Really anyway, we were driving home and Josh says "Oh, its 35 degrees...it's warm today"
Me: We have this discussion every winter...just because its not freezing, doesn't mean its "warm"
Josh: Its Warm in relative to what its been
Me: Its warmer than what its been , but its not "warm"
My definition of warm is not having to wear a jacket when I go outside!!! What's your definition? I have a hard time saying his opinion of warm isn't wrong hahaha...
changing the subject..
I have never ever noticed so many people trashing on the previous year and stoked for their "new start" of the new year. Maybe I never knew it because Facebook wasn't as popular last New Year and so I didnt have the opportunity to hear it all.
I've seen lots of people say "last few hours of sugar" or junk food altogether... I just think it's weird. Maybe I just think diets are weird...they dont work. If you plan on depriving yourself of something temporarily to get to the weight you want...and then you go back to your normal diet, wont you go back to your regular size?
You have to make a change in your life...and I think waiting for an excuse like January 1st is weak. I think thats why we hear a lot of New Years resolutions fail. Because once you fail, you wait a whole stupid year again until January 1st to try again.
Not talkin about everyone, but, it's common.
And when people say "I'm so glad that 09 is behind me, bring on 2010!" I can pretty much guarantee you that its not gunna be much different hahaha.
Why can't you pick any old day of the year to go "I am going to eat this broccoli instead of this cookie" (not that I don't love cookies)
I just think the resolution thing needs to go.
I love goals.
Happy New year.

We went to the lights at Temple Square for New Years Eve, then Texas Roadhouse, then put the baby to sleep, and cuddled while watching the ball drop.
Which is quite a different New years eve experience than I had last year ...and what I said I would have this year...
If you remember my post from last year, I said it sucked big time. The reason why it sucked, was because I took an early pregnancy test when we got home and it was negative. It was the CHERRY on top!
Then 3 days later I missed my period and took another test...

Thanksgiving Vacation
Josh and I drove to California and it was a ton of fun! It didn't go by too fast and we got to spend a lot of quality time with family.

My mother-in-law taught me and my sister-in-law Shannon how to make a few of the secret Brecheisen Christmas candies. They are amazing. And we pretty much ate them all on the 10 hour drive home yesterday. Even though its REAL candy and it actually tells your body that you are full of sugar and don't need anymore...we didnt stop.
On Thanksgiving day Shannon's husband Dug brought his music equipment and they made a rap that is Saweeet.
Click below to listen!!! And try to ignore the "AVS MUSIC DEMO" lady. I have spent hours upon hours trying to get this song straight on my blog....and i finally figured out how to change from an MP4 to an MP3. so soooo-ry!!!!

Intro:Isaac, main vocals: Josh, background females: Theresa & Sarah, background male: Dug, the every once in a while "Looooove": Mary, 2nd rapper:Chris, and ending "Peace Out Homie": Katie.
I'm pretty impressed...I don't know bout you.
I woke up at 5 AM on Black Friday...but found nothing!!!! So disappointing. oh well.
If you haven't been by the site CakeWrecks.com... You definitely need to. I laugh so hard every time I go there. I've been looking for Wrecks in every bakery I pass, and I finally found some way good ones in Elko, NV. I just submitted them so if she says some CCC's from a Carly B. you know its me!
Happy Holidays!

Random thoughts
Josh and I are ward missionaries. Josh is pretty stoked about it but I can't bring myself to agree!!! That is horrible to say, but I just am so far outside of my comfort zone. I know it'll make me a better person, and it's something I really need to get more comfortable doing. Thursday nights are the nights we go out, so I am super nervous all day about knocking on random people's doors and getting weird reactions. However, The Office is also every Thursday. All in all Thursdays are good days. Being a missionary isn't as hard as I thought, and usually it's fun, but I still get super nervous every time.
On Tuesday Josh starts coaching Volleyball for 16-year old girls. That is so exciting for him and it'll be tons of fun. Life is getting more and more hectic but no complaints here! Josh's work is starting to really pick up and he is doing really well selling his stuff. We are actually very blessed because he is able to sell to almost any industry. As long as they need paper and need to make copies! I love my husband so much and couldn't imagine life without him. He holds so many qualities I wish I had. He bears his testimony nearly every month with confidence. I wish I were a good public speaker like him. I wish I had the confidence to march up to a stranger and start talking about our great church and how they should look into it. ;)

May The Force Be With You
Now we don't have any cute kids in costume yet like the rest of you...
But we threw these little numbers together last minute.

And because we don't have kids yet, I know my blog isn't as cool as any of my pals on here. Everyone has their kids in the cutest costumes and they say the darndest things. I look forward to the days I can post awesome things like that to remember. For now I post about my man so you will know just about everything but his social security number ;)
Oh, and contrary to what the picture above looks like, I am not pregnant.
On Halloween night we went to "The Howl" which is a big dance party up at Utah State University. It was a ton of fun people watching. But about four or five times a Star Wars Nerd would stop us and say "Hey, Princess Leia never had a light saber!" Like they were hurt because I was being disrespectful or something. My most common response was "Well I have one!" and then I'd draw my saber and point it in their direction.

High School Reunion
This weekend Josh and I went to his 10-year high school reunion in California. We didn't take any pictures, but I'll have to get some from Josh's friends. It was really fun! Many people didnt recognize him...

but once they heard his name they'd go "Wow! Josh Brecheisen! You look good!!!" It was an interesting atmosphere where no one was afraid to talk to anyone (could have been the booze everyone else was drinking) but Josh has an outgoing personality and was talking to anyone that crossed his path. All troubles and problems people had with each other were long forgiven and forgotten.
It was also good to see our family. My little brother got to spend a lot of time with Josh, and looks up to him so much. He used to be mad at josh we got married because I was "His Tarly". Now all I do is get in the way of their fun.

This is an old picture...he is a lot bigger and I now have bangs)
I have some waaaay cute nieces. Here is Elli. The movie is kinda long but she had to get through all of her animal impressions.
Minus our flight getting delayed twice, boarding then unboarding due to the plane malfunctions, and reboarding another plane and making it home at 1 am and waking up at 5...the trip was perfect.
The best news of the WEEK or possibly MONTH....I bought my Twilight movie tickets! If you buy them at Jordan Commons via www.megaplextheatres.com you can pick your seats. Which means no camping out! Not that I was willing to do that or anything...
Last week tickets were on sale in California...everything comes out first in Cali...Not that I looked or anything.

Happy Birthday Josh!
Last weekend I took Josh to the BYU game and then surprised him with a night at the Anniversary Inn. I wanted it to be fun so I got the Neptunes Cave room

We absolutely loved it! Room came with cheesecake, bottle of sparkling cider, and breakfast served to our room. There are many different themed rooms. One night of our honeymoon we stayed in the "Dodge City" Room.

We loved both of our stays there and plan going back. I loved leaving reality and experiencing a night that's out of a fairytale.
