Why I Love BabySteals.com...

If you havent been to Babysteals.com before, and have kids, you need to know about this website! They have a daily deal every morning at 9 am, and the item that's on sale is usually sold out soon after. It is especially awesome if you live in Utah, because if you dont want to pay shipping, you can pick it up at their warehouse in Salt Lake!
The last thing I bought from them was actually this morning, right after 9 am when I saw it and wanted to get it before it sold out....a Boppy!


Apparently this one has sounds? Im excited about it. I remember holding my sisters baby girl, Carmen 2 weeks after she was born (10 lb baby) and my arms were so tired i couldnt hold her very long...and my sister shoved the boppy around my torso. I was immediately in love and knew I'd use one (oh, I was in love with Carmen too haha)!

Yesterday morning Josh and I went out to shop for baby clothes and stopped at mcdonalds for breakfast. After ordering we went to sit down and wait.
All the sudden we hear "Mom! He...y......."
We looked up to see a 6 or 7 year old boy sitting alone, looking at me.
"Oh, you have the same hair as my mom, I thought you were my mom..."
He was embarassed but it was really cute. His mom came over to ask what he wanted to eat and she was wearing a black shirt like me, and had long platinum blond hair as well. She then walked away and then our number was called so Josh walked away to get that.
We were all alone (the little boy and I) and I hear the boy say, "You're beautiful...."
I looked over to make sure he was looking at me and I say "Thanks!!" It was quite a confidence booster since I have been feeling everything BUT beautiful lately. I wasn't even wearing makeup. Boys must be made of at least a little sugar, right?

Josh and I are pleased to announce our baby proudly presented us with his manhood today at our ultrasound.
ITS A BOY!!! YEAH BABY!

I'll post a picture later of his big biceps.

And just within this last week, I started thinking "I'll be surprised if its a girl..." and so I've been telling people I think it's a boy! Not that I had any special premonitions, I had a 50/50 chance :)

Baby Movements

So I'm sure you know that I've been feeling the baby these last few days for the first time. (after talking about it so much on Facebook) But I have a way to explain what it feels like other than what people told me. Butterflies in your tummy was one, popcorn popping, a fish swimming around...
But have you ever been tickling your own stomach and you get to that super ticklish area, and your muscle kind of twitches out of your control? Its like that, but a bunch of muscles in one little area. I feel little pokes all day but I swear every once in a while that little thing is doing somersaults.
It's been the most exciting thing so far.

Babymoon & Anniversary in Hawai'i

Ok its been almost a month but I just have to tell you a few details! We had a BLAST in our tanks and shorts and flip flops all week long. It was so nice to kick back.
First things first, we got to stay with Jeremy & Melinda, my bro & sis-in-law. Josh and I are scratching our heads wondering how we didnt get at least one pic of the whole family, but here are a few.

This is the most chill little baby I have ever met. He will smile at ANYTHING. Even when the poor baby is sick! Look at him! He's so content with everything! Now I'm all stoked for a Chill little Brecheisen boy! (even though Josh was FAR from chill...he was bouncing off the walls constantly. we'll see.)

And I think this is little Aislin? I think she posed but turned around at the last second. Turtles are too cool :)
It was awesome staying with them! I especially loved how in the dead of winter you only need a thin blanket, and there arent real windows, just a screen with some glass blinds to keep the rain out. It was awesome when it would rain at night, because you had the soothing sound without the wetness! And they had an outside shower that had way hot water and it was exhilerating.

Ok so the first day we went to see the turtles, as shown above. The second day it was our anniversary, so after church we hung out with the fam for a while, and then went out for a romantic night for just the two of us. We walked along Waikiki Beach and then went to eat at Chuck's Grill. We got balcony seats and the food was amazing.

Then we walked along the strip for a while and shopped...and goofed off.

Ok, and this bag I have, I got from one of my best friends. Her name is Jessy and she got it from Thailand. She said it was great for the beach cuz you can fit so much in it!!! and that bag DID deliver!!! just about everything was in that bag, the whole trip. it was so convenient!

The rest of the days we went to the beach, snorkeled, shopped at the Aloha Stadium and visited Pearl Harbor.
I was soooo scared of snorkeling. I thought a shark was going to appear out of nowhere. And I thought that the little fish would bite me too! Didnt help that we got an episode in of "shark attacks" the night before. If shark attacks are so rare, why do I see them SO frequently on TV?
We got to go to dinner with my gorgeous cousin Ashleigh and her husband Iasi. They were so cute!! When dinner was over we went to get ice cream and I started freaking out! I couldnt find our camera!!!! Our precious memories!! I stressed for about an hour but we ended up finding it in our trunk...which was Josh's doing. And Ashleigh seriously wanted to give me her camera because I couldn't find mine. Now thats love.

It was just was Josh and I needed. This was what Josh thought was most relaxing to watch:

Waimea Bay. This was one of the smaller waves. We have video of better stuff, but Its old school video so I can't upload it on here.
Josh is my best friend and I couldnt imagine this experience without him.
Oh, and my ultrasound is officially scheduled for April 13th. The countdown is on! I can finally shop in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!

Maternity Shirt

I want this shirt Katherine Heigl has on in the movie "Knocked Up".
I watched it a few years ago at a girls night out, and although we turned it off halfway through cuz it sucked, she was wearing the cutest maternity shirt ever. I just spent a 1/2 hour googling "Katherine Heigl Knocked Up Maternity Wardrobe" and found NOTHING! This is the ONLY picture I could find, but in the movie you see the whole thing and its GORGEOUS.
Its probably too expensive but I wanted to try. If for some wild crazy reason you have information on this shirt, please give me a holler.

To confirm, my morning sickness ended on the DAY I was 12 weeks along. I know I am very lucky. All my appointments have been been short and easy with normal blood pressure and all that Jazzola.
Yesterday was the first day I felt my belly and thought "wow, thats firm fat!" and I can't suck in the gut anymore. as in, its impossible to do, not that im sick of sucking it in. It hurts to suck in!

Although I'm feeling better, I am quite lazy. I will get around to the Hawaii post. I'm stoked !
