Grandma Vi's Secret Christmas Cookie Recipe attempt

Failed.

Ok, not entirely.

They just look a loooot different than Theresa's, my Mother in Law. I dont know why I keep attempting to HALF recipes for baked goods...it always ends up different than its supposed to. But I know if I make the whole thing, I might just eat the whole thing.

Cuz they are the most delicious cookie I have ever tasted (not my version, Theresa's...)
And no, you cannot have the recipe, its too secret. I've vowed never to tell.

Look I'm all artsy and stuff.
And I dont have the right equipment. Still tasty though.

And that is not "frosting" is light and fluffy...sooo yummy.

Come on Brecheisens back me up on how good these are...

Oh and Theresa, I have such an appreciation for these now, the hard work that gets put into them and how fast they go.

I got taken off probation and was granted permission to learn these this year. We just made them on Saturday and it took 3.5 hours with me, Theresa, and Sarah all helping together! They are a little piece of heaven on earth. And now I totally understand why Theresa hides them and makes them last all Christmas.

They are the best cookies ever. Mom made them all my life and Theresa has learned to perfection. The secret is wearing the right apron...doug
