hmm?! (pics added)

So, apparently, Josh made a pretty good impression on the Bishop, despite the swearing that was done in his office.
Josh got a call before church while we were still in bed (we kind of like to wake up last minute, its a bad habit) and they said to cut our Sunday school class short today because the Bishopric wanted to meet with us. My guess is that they were going to call us to young men/young womens. I made him guess, although he didn't want to, and his guess was elders quorum/relief society. I reeeeeeeeally hoped his guess was wrong.

And it was. They released us from teaching the 12-13 year olds, and called me as the Den Mother for the Bear Scouts....and Josh as the Ward Mission Leader!!! We were ward missionaries at our Ward in Midvale...and that was the biggest challenge for me. Knocking on doors in an apartment complex is not my favorite thing to do. I am making sure we never live in a complex again. Unless we move to California...I will pretty much live anywhere if we live there. As long as its a safe area.
Anyway, Josh is pretty happy about it. Knocking doors and starting up conversations with random people is his forte. Growing up his Mom says he had enough confidence for the whole family. Josh loves to talk. He loves to hear the sound of his own voice. He will admit it too. Anyway, he will have to spend a little more time away from Kaius and I for this calling, but I know that we will be blessed in other ways. I'm sure wives' of Bishops see countless blessings in their life. Man they spend a lot of time away from their families.

Today we went on a picnic!

We had steak sandwiches...because we had steak sandwiches when we went to Hawaii last year. Melinda made them for us (my sister in law) and I was pregnant at the time. I pretty much HAD to have steak sandwiches all the time the rest of the pregnancy, they were so good. But I haven't had one since then, so that's what I wanted! We went to a park, it was fun and relaxing.

I also have pictures of the girls night out we had last night.

These are my hott friends.

The Crazies

(Funny story about this picture...after this picture was taken they looked at the pic on my camera and Natalie-girl on left, said "wow I look albino next the the Aborigine in the picture" -talking about Cammie-on the right, because she is so tan. But Cammie thought she was talking about the black guy to the left hahaha......)

We went to Tucanos and then went to a Romeo + Juliet musical afterwards...and it was not just normal boring R + J...it was a HIP HOP version. Which is right up our alley...since we all Zumba together many times a week.
I don't think I'll post the video of me standing on a chair at Tucano's dancing with a tambourine though...
alright...you all talked me into it...

I think I look fly.

And please leave me a comment, thanking me for putting on a bra- just for this picture.

BEEP

So Josh and I met with the bishop tonight and we talked for about an hour, just getting to know each other. Josh proceeds to tell the bishop about the lemon car we bought from a shady dealer, with a shot transmission that we had to shell out an extra 2,000 for from our savings. Josh words it like this "Well we bought a car from this salesman in Salt Lake and we got totally shhhhhhheisted in the deal." (which is the sh** word in German)....not a big deal cuz we Americans say "Shizah" all the time, right??

Well our Bishop moved to America when he was in his twenties...from Germany. And can say our last name more properly than we can.
The look on his face was HILARIOUS. So shocked. He was like, "Oh OK."
Josh didn't even realized til I hit him on the arm. Oh man, did he apologize up and down trying to explain that Americans use it in every day language as slang, not profanity. And that he should know better, he took 5 years of German, his family had a German boy come stay with them for a year, and his little brother Chris is currently on a mission there right now. I think that the bishop understood, but think if you moved to Germany and became a bishop and someone came in and said the word "shi$" in your office?? hahahaha I don't think I'll ever let him live it down. We laughed pretty hard about it on the way home. And I told him I'm totally gunna blog about it, and her I am.

Kai's First Swim!

My little man!

Swimmin with Uncle Ryan!

Ah! I'm in a swimming suit XD! But I have a 20 lb body hiding me.
Josh was trying to get Kai's attention and didn't wipe the crazy look off his face in time. But he is still hott.

Kaius liked it. He just kind of chilled out, splashed a little bit. It was snowing when we got done and were walking out to the car. That was fun! It all must have worn my baby boy out cuz he slept for about 4 hours!

I need to make fun of this girl

After

This used to be my scrapbooking oranizer, but I've upgraded. More on that later.
Josh isnt the most organized with paper, but he'll never leave dirty socks or any clothes on the floor. He cleans the sink after he shaves, I think I got lucky. But I decided to surprise him by mod podging it! Did I mention, ?

But mod podging on PLASTIC...I dont recommend. It was hard. Wood is better because its more...supple? porous? you get the picture.

Back to scrapbooking, I have sooo many scrapbook supplies. I have maybe 3 scrapbook pages to show for it. I have everything...pictures, ribbon, letter stickers and stamps, fun decals, different papers, yada yada yada. I feel like the house needs to be completely clean and organized before I scrapbook. But when is it EVER clean and organized.

Now for some cute pics:

Like takin' candy from a baby :) (For those of you that are worried, he didn't actually lick this lollypop...just posing in the candy store. Well...he did lick it for a second, but the lollypop is wrapped in plastic)

first day outside with mom...finally some nice weather. He's wearing Oliver's hat!!

Aww...this picture reminds me of this post where I said "Now I'm all stoked for a chill little Brecheisen boy" because Oliver was so happy and calm! I don't think Kaius is quiiiite as calm as Oliver but he is a very good calm and happy baby! Also, when I wrote that post, I didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl yet.

Binkies...doesn't quite get the concept. But he's teething, so, whatevers.
