Motherhood Lately

I've really enjoyed being a mom lately, more than ever. Kaius has been pretty good lately. He is so loving and he always wants to help us out. He even is listening to me a little bit when I say "Please don't do that". But, he has started planting a fat kiss on me whenever he's being a little naughty. Or he'll just do it randomly. When he gets an owee, he wants me to kiss it better.

He was helping Josh wash the car.

Monroe is getting to be more "social" as the babycenter emails say. She smiles at us and my favorite is when she lets out a loud *sigh*. She's so dainty and lovely. And a great napper and sleeps well most nights. So, she's my best friend.



A couple weeks ago we went to Memory Grove. It was so fun! And beautiful.

This picture looks so much like me as a toddler. I'll find a pic of me and post it someday.

Oh, and since I've watched Nemo a bajillion times, I've really realized what a HUGE jErK Marlin (Nemo's Dad) is! I mean, I get that he's stressed trying to find his son and all, but man he is rude. And Katie, from Horton Hears a Who, is psychoooo.

4 Generation Picture

So, I think the ladies surrounding me in the picture look beautiful. Me- not so much.

I think I've been struggling more this time around with the baby weight. Ok, or else I just forgot last time around how hard it was. I didn't find Zumba until Kaius was already 3 months. Then I kicked the exercise and healthy eating to full throttle (except that calories don't count on the weekend...I don't believe in depriving myself.)

Shaving Tips & Morning Breath Help

Yup, shaving tips. Never know whatchur gunna get here.

Armpits- There is no wrong way to do it. Normally you'd shave the opposite direction of hair growth...but your armpits grow all sorts of directions. So shave up, down, sideways, slantways.

Knees- Seem to always miss spots? Try locking your knee (straighten your leg). It seems like you will cut yourself, but you wont. I mean, the risk of cutting doesn't go up. Just try it.

Would you like to be rid of morning breath? Are you willing to pay $ to be rid of it?

Whenever Josh would roll my direction in the middle of the night, and I happened to be facing him, and he would let out a big breath, and I would die (jk)...I had to find a solution. I've tried Thera breath but didn't like that so much.

Naptime

So I was putting Kaius down for a nap today. We sang our fun songs (do as I'm doing, once there was a snowman, and popcorn popping...it gets him to like me and then calm down to sleep) and then I started to sing "I am a Child of God" to get him to sleep. I was halfway through the second verse when he sat up, put his index finger up to his lips, and "shooshed" me. Then he laid back down and fell asleep.
